Deco City Knit Shawl Progress
Happy Friday to you!
I wanted to share some progress photos of the knit shawl I am working on at the moment. It is my very first knit shawl and I am loving it so far! I am using the Deco City pattern from the winter issue of Pom Pom Quarterly. I can't get enough of the Art Deco-inspired lines.
Thankfully the pattern is easy enough for a shawl newbie like me. I am able to keep up with the stitch increases on each row and only have a few mistakes so far. I blame the mistakes on my latest Netflix obsession, Chef's Table. Each episode shows the life, restaurant, and food behind a world famous chef. I can't help but miss a stitch or two when also staring/drooling at the sight of a fresh wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Or maybe I love cheese a little too much...
No. Not possible.
Also, here is a random doodle I felt inspired to make (don't ask me why!) when I received this perfect cat eye glasses pin from yourstrulypins. :)
I think brooch doodling (broodling) is going to be my new thing. Haha.
What are you up to this weekend? Working on anything new?
