Wooly Knit Words - Mollie Makes Holiday 2013
I pretty much missed the annual pumpkin-fever that ensued during the month of October. On Halloween I wore a batman shirt, watched The Great Pumpkin, ate some candy corn, and typed away on the last few sections of my book. Spooky! Since October flew by in a flash I am not ashamed to admit that I am already contemplating putting up my Christmas tree. I don't think I can wait much longer! I've already started listening to Christmas music. Don't judge. It is just so comforting! Who could possibly turn their nose up to Ella Fitzgerald singing "Jingle Bells"?
To keep my Christmas mood going strong I am so excited to have a project in the holiday issue of Mollie Makes this month! I created a thrifty knit gift idea out of a coat hanger and a little bit of yarn to make these festive wooly words. I think these knit words would look great hanging on a wall or nestled in the branches of a Christmas tree. You can find the project on page 43 of Mollie Makes Issue 33.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I might need a few days to rest after all of the book work from last month this year...but I already have some other fun holiday crochet projects, sweater makeovers, and exciting news to share soon. :)
