One Sheepish Girl Book Photo Shoot - Behind the Scenes
Sunday was one of the greatest moments of my life.
Period.
Thanks to the help of my amazing family, one pretty incredible photographer, and a group of beautifully talented ladies, I was able to see a year of work come to life. The main book photo shoot for all of my crochet projects happened last Sunday and let me tell you...everything came together and the photos look amazing. I was so close to breaking down and crying happy tears before, during, and after the shoot. Ok, I confess. I definitely sobbed like a baby at the end of the day. It was a necessary release of the stress, anxiety, and exhaustion I felt leading up to this shoot.
Throughout the day I kept covering my mouth and saying "Ohmygosh...Ohmygosh..." and beaming at Kelly as I styled and she photographed the projects. Lauren, Abbie, and Madison were the lovely models for the day. Their hair was transformed by Pouf Salon here in Dallas and Chantal from Love Dose Beauty did such an amazing job with the makeup. Also, my friend Keith shot a little behind the scenes video that I will be able to share when the book comes out next fall!
All in all, it was everything I could have hoped for. I can't wait to share the finished product with you! It feels so weird to keep something so big hidden for such a long time. I am so proud of all of the hard work and how everything is coming together. It will definitely be worth the wait. :)
Thank you so much for your encouragement this month. Actually, scratch that. Your encouragement has been around a lot longer than one month. Thank you for reading and supporting my creative adventures starting on the first day I pressed "publish" here on this blog. I will never be able to thank you enough.
So...one more time...thank you to everyone who helped make Sunday possible. :)
