Weekend Plans 9/20 - 9/22 + A Few Life Updates!

Hello! So, I wasn't planning on taking a blogging break this week but it was definitely necessary if I wanted to maintain some level of sanity. Once again I am realizing the truth of the phrase, "Everything happens at once." See also: "When it rains, it pours." It is all good things though! Just a lot to take on at once. The blog might be a little quieter than usual but not for long...I have some wonderful guest bloggers lined up for next month that I am super excited about. I will definitely have some exciting life events to blog about too!
So, the first bit of exciting news is...I'm moving! Not too far from where I am now, just a different part of the Dallas area. I am currently in the process of packing up my yarn (oh, and other important things like clothes...haha.) in boxes for the big move. It is all happening so fast but I couldn't be happier! I can't wait to share pictures of my new space.
So this weekend I will be...
- Packing!
- Shooting a few extra photos for my new blog design. Yeah, another exciting thing that is happening soon! The new website! Can't wait to finally share it.
- Working on DIY props for the final book photo shoots in a few weeks.
- Prepping blog posts.
- and....
...I am working on the final stages of my crochet pattern book! SO exciting. So crazy. Everything is coming together nicely I just need to remember to breathe and stay organized. I wish I could share more behind the scenes photos of the projects. When I snap a photo of something with my phone I want to share it right away but always decide against it just in case it reveals too much. I have to keep it all a secret for now! Fall 2014 seems so far away...
Kelly and I shot a few photos for the book early this week at a friend's house. Their sweet dog Samson was so helpful all day. I wanted to take him home with me. :)

I also drove out to Ikea to pick out some furniture for my new apartment. I needed fuel before the long day of trekking through the aisles of that ginormous store, so I stopped at the cafe to try the Swedish pancakes for breakfast. The order came with the famous lingonberry jam and it was so tasty! However, the jam looks a little creepy in that photo, doesn't it? Haha.

Anyway...it was a very busy week and it isn't over yet! The next two months are going to be the craziest, most challenging months of my life. I am so excited and ready for change. I just need to remember the positive things when my stress levels get perilously close to the edge. Also, I am so thankful to have friends and family willing to help me move and just do whatever they can to help during this time. They are the best.

I hope you had a great week! Thank you in advance for all of your support. What are you up to this weekend?
