San Francisco Memories - Part Two

On our way to and from Muir Woods, we drove over the Golden Gate bridge. It was definitely a "pinch me" moment! The bridge is just as big and beautiful as I expected.
We also drove over to Sausalito for an afternoon. It is such a cute town! We stopped for lunch at Scoma's, a delicious seafood restaurant right on the water. I tried the fish tacos. So good! Visiting Sausalito was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip.

I spent my last day in SF with my friend and knitting buddy, Emma. First, we drove up to Twin Peaks to see the amazing view of the city. The fog made the city look so mysterious. After taking in the view we went to the Mission area to explore. We tried Mission Cheese for lunch and it was probably definitely one of the best meals of my life. The California Gold sandwich is AMAZING. Emma and I split an order of macaroni and cheese too. So much cheese! It was more than worth it.

We also stopped by the famous Tartine for a coffee and grabbed a croissant to-go. I had mine the next morning for breakfast.

This was an amazing vacation that I will never forget! Even though I have been sick and sneezing all week I am thankful that the allergies hit me when I stepped off the plane in Dallas and not in San Francisco. :)
