The Blush List - Colorful Fall + Giveaway Winner
Food // Yet another wonderful and warming soup recipe I can't wait to try: roasted butternut squash and apple with walnut cilantro pesto.
I am inspired by bright colors all year long. Even when the darker browns and reds are more seasonally appropriate, I can't help but gravitate toward the eye-catching oranges and chartreuses. No...not just because chartreuse is fun to say. Because it is. Haha.
Anyway, I hope you had a great weekend. I spent the last few days doing some major stress knitting on the sweater I re-started last week. Stress knitting is surprisingly helpful for two reasons: 1.) It keeps me from thinking about all of the things that I think about all the time. Lately I've had a lot going on so it's nice to take a break and concentrate on knitting instead of everything else. 2.) Apparently stress knitting equals fast knitting because I finished the first sleeve in record time. I also started a new book on Saturday, The House at Riverton by Kate Morton, and I really like it so far. I've been searching for a new book for weeks and I think I finally found a keeper. Even though my English major days are over I'm not any less of a book lover! What are you reading at the moment? I would love to add some more books to my list.
Enjoy the rest of your day! Here's hoping for a good week ahead.
Also, congratulations Kate on winning the Bottega Vintage gift card giveaway! I will be contacting you very soon!
