When the things I love become stressful...
I take a step back and...
- pray
- scream into a pillow
- cry into a pillow
- punch the pillow
- ...put down the pillow...
- take a walk
- call up a good friend
- watch a funny tv show (Parks and Recreation at the moment)
- laugh
- breathe
- pick up my needles, hook, pencil, laptop, or all of the above and remember why I love this so much
Now that college is coming to an end, I'm faced with so many decisions about the future that I'm not ready to make. So, you could say it was "one of those days'...
But I have to admit, this system for de-stressing is highly effective. Just follow the steps, rinse, and repeat if necessary. :)
